QUICK AND EASY WARGAME This game is a set of historical rules for use with 1/72nd scale model soldiers (HO scale) that are found in most model and hobby shops. These soldiers stand approximately 20 millimeters high and are so cheap and plentiful they just beg to be used in a game so we wrote one and it’s a blast! These simple, fast moving rules can be used for any era of history that interests you from the 300 Spartans, to the War in Iraq. The goal is to have fun while to create a fast moving and exciting battle, not to pore over obscure tables and charts. With QUICK AND EASY WARGAME you can test real world strategies and tactics and see how they work. Play against a skilled and wily foe, like your best friend, and utterly defeat him! QUICK AND EASY WORLD WAR THREE
This supplement to QUICK AND EASY WARGAME will soon be available as a supplement for QUICK AND EASY WARGAME. In it are rules and modeling tips for fighting the “inevitable” war in Europe between NATO and the Warsaw Pact’s communist forces.
In this alternative timeline war broke out in the mid 1980’s and continues to this day. All high tech weapons systems have been used… and used up. The few remaining vehicles are starved for fuel and spare parts. Ethanol is produced using ‘stills and corn and each side fights to protect them.
In this war soldiers often ride into battle on horseback and blaze at their foe with automatic rifles, tanks are immobile bunkers to be assaulted and wagon trains are raided for food and supplies. Victory goes to the one who can quickly adapt to the deteriorating technology of World War III.
